§ 2-34. Standing committees.

The following shall be the standing committees of the city council:

Cemetery.

Equipment.

Facilities.

Health officer.

Pensions.

It shall be the duty of each standing or special committee, whenever required by the mayor and city council, to examine any matter referred to such committee and make a prompt report or show good cause why no report is made. Such reports shall not be in writing unless so directed by the mayor and city council.
