§ 58-64. Posting of signs, placards or advertisements.

Pursuant to the purposes of this article and the authority granted by O.C.G.A. § 85-16C,
it shall be unlawful for anyone to paste, glue, tack, or otherwise post any sign,
placard, advertisement, or inscription whatever, nor shall any person erect, or cause
to be erected, or otherwise place or leave any sign, placard, or advertisement whatever
on any public lands, public ways, highways, or roads adjacent to a public park within
the corporate limits; provided, however, that this section shall not apply to any
properly authorized government official posting signs in pursuit of an official duty.
