§ 66-182. Conformance to rules and regulations.

In addition to the requirements established in this chapter, all subdivision plats shall comply with the following laws, rules, and regulations:

(1)

All applicable statutory provisions.

(2)

The zoning ordinance of the city in appendix A to this Code, building and housing codes, and all other applicable laws of the city.

(3)

The special requirements of this chapter and any rules of the health department and appropriate state agencies.

(4)

The rules of the state department of transportation if the subdivision or any lot contained therein abuts a state highway or connecting street.

(5)

The standards and regulations adopted by the code enforcement officer and the building inspector.

(6)

Erosion and sediment control ordinance, chapter 38, article II of this Code. Plat approval may be withheld if a subdivision is not in conformity with this chapter. Such restrictions or reference thereto shall be required to be indicated on or attached to the final plat. When conflicts exist between this chapter and other public regulations and other public regulations or covenants, the stricter regulations shall prevail.
